Nuno Pine Needles Wrap
The Pine Needles is one of the wet felting techniques I invented to create a fine lacy felt.
I was inspired by the scenery of pine needles spread on snow in my hometown, Sapporo, Japan nearly 30 years ago.
Nuno Pine Needles is one of the variations of this technique. It is fascinating to see how the fine fabric can be formed with very little amount of wool.
In this class, we are going to learn the basic to intermediate Nuno felt technique with unique Pine Needles technique in large wrap scale.
It is almost like a doodling on the fabric without cross over lines, for example, spirals, wave lines, circles, etc.
If you could bring some rough drawing, it would be easy to start.
We can also combine a few different colours fabric.
